This the third owner in four years
Carthage – The Hotel Walton in Smith County has been purchased by Snow Creek Properties, according to reports.
Former owner John Leftwich Jr. purchased the hotel from Poindexter Realty Auction in 2020.
According to the report, Poindexter watched over multiple “extensive” renovations including new furniture. The hotel is close to century old and includes 10 guest rooms, two meeting rooms and three rentable spaces with two attached storefronts. ROCKABILLY Coffee Shop and Stephanie McCaleb Interiors and Wildflower Nutrition are currently housed there.
