COOKEVILLE – A.D. Sanford was crowned the winner of the 2021 Boswell’s Country Roads Harley-Davidson Chili Cook-off with Nancy Skipworth placing second. The event was held on April 8 in coordination with the Upper Cumberland HOG chapter meeting.

The competition was fierce with 12 competitors dueling it out to win the $100 Boswell’s gift card and the coveted qualification to compete in the 2021 World Championship Chili Cook-off. Second prize was a $50 Boswell’s gift card.

Winners were determined by a panel of judges from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department including Sheriff Eddie Farris, Lieutenant Eric Hall, Lieutenant Al Reyes and Motor Officer Gary Davis.

The event had a great turnout with attendees being served Boswell’s GM Roy Bennett’s “famous grilled cheese sandwiches” and the competitors’ chili.
