It is not known what caused the fire
According to a report by WKRN, Timberloft Restaurant at 470 Gordonsville Highway in Gordonsville was destroyed in a fire last night that Smith County officials called “devastating”. Gordonsville Fire Department, Carthage Fire Department and the South Carthage Fire Department responded to the scene, but no injuries were reported.
It is not known what caused the fire at this time.
“We are absolutely heartbroken,” said Timberloft in a statement. “Timberloft was more than a restaurant – it was home to 28 years of memories, friendships and hard work. Our hearts are with our incredible staff, past and present, and everyone who ever walked through those doors. There are no words for how deeply sad we are today,” according to the statement.
