Holston now has nine locations in Alabama and 12 in Tennessee
Holston gases, the Knoxville based gas company with locations in Crossville and Cookeville, among others has purchased Alabama’s Advanced Welding Supply, according to reports. With the move, Holston now has 45 locations across six states.
The move adds a 45th Holston location across six states. Holston distributes industrial gas, welding supplies and safety products. The purchase closed June 30.
Holston now has nine locations in Alabama and 12 in Tennessee, including:
- Crossville
- Cookeville
- Athens,
- Chattanooga
- Clarksville
- Columbia
- Gallatin
- Harriman
- Jacksboro
- Knoxville
- Nashville
- and Tri-Cities
“This is a perfect fit. Advanced Welding and the Myers family have an outstanding reputation in north central Alabama, and we look forward to partnering with them to enhance the offerings they can provide their customers,” Holston President Joe Baxter said in a statement posted by the Independent Welding Distributors Cooperative.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We’ve known the Holston Gases folks for a long time, and we think a lot of them,” added Advanced Welding owner Tim Myers. “Our customers will really benefit from this combination.”
