DeRoyal which produces tools and instruments such as custom procedure trays

According to a report, DeRoyal facility in LaFollette, which produces tools and instruments such as custom procedure trays – sterile kits for certain surgical procedures, for use in health care settings, is closing primary operations by the end of the month, and completely by the end of 2025.

The shutdown will cost the state 153 jobs, a struggle that is growing as manufacturing facilities are closing across the state.
