Home price increases have slowed this year, but another takeaway from the June market report is that the forecast is a 3% increase

In June, home prices continued to increase nationally, although slowly, and interest rates are being influenced (as is usually the case). Read the full report HERE.
“Builders are helping the affordability issue by increasing the availability of smaller, more affordable homes,” according to the report.
Home price increases have slowed this year, but another takeaway from the June market report is that the forecast is a 3% increase (down from 5.5%). Still great news for sellers, not so much for buyers. In April, according to the National Association of Realtors (NAR) existing home sales report, home sales price grew 5.7% from April 2023, the 10th consecutive month of year-over-year price gains.
With that in mind, let’s dive into this month’s list which includes many beautiful homes sold in Putnam County during June.
Topping the list is a gorgeous 2,659 square foot property and home with three bedrooms and three-baths on 3 acres at 6229 Ditty Road in Cookeville (pictured above and below) that sold for $850,000. The brick home has updated landscaping, exterior lighting and an additional 3 bay garage.
