COOKEVILLE – The Putnam County Volunteer Organization will be collecting items for tornado survivors in West Tennessee and Kentucky on Friday, Dec. 17 from 3-6 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.
An Averitt Express trailer will be on the midway at the West Gate to accept items, including clothing, toys and personal items.
All other organizations collecting items for the relief efforts are invited to bring their items and the Putnam County Volunteer Organization will transport them to the survivors.
