PUTNAM COUNTY – July 2022 sales tax revenues for Putnam County and for each of its cities increased over 2021 numbers.

“With 12 months of the fiscal year in the books, countywide we are up 11.6% over last fiscal year,” said Putnam County Mayor Randy Porter.

Individually the sales tax revenue for all municipalities was up over 2021 collections.

July sales tax reflects taxes collected in May and turned over to the state in June.
