The goal of the meetings is to receive feedback

The City of Cookeville will hold focus group meetings on Oct. 7 – 8 to receive community feedback on plans for the Depot/Cream City Project (WestSide Development). All meetings will take place at the Gas Division offices at 16 N Oak Avenue in Cookeville.

The following meetings and times are planned:

Tuesday, Oct. 7:

9 – 11 a.m.: Businesses and Property Owners

1 – 3 p.m.: City Staff and Departments

3 – 5 p.m.: General Public

5 – 7 p.m.: CityScape and Historical Commission

Wednesday, Oct. 8:

9 – 11 a.m.: Business and Property Owners

1 – 3 p.m.: General Public

3 – 5 p.m.: Chamber and Tourism

5 – 7 p.m.: TTU Faculty/Students and General Public

“During these focus group meetings, the consulting team from Asa Engineering will share primary objectives for the project and present an initial concept for public review. Those in attendance will have an opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and express concerns. Attendees will also be asked to complete a questionnaire,” according to a release by the city.
