Businesses look to train next generation of skilled professionals

Cookeville – Parkview Elementary School hosted an adoption ceremony with the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce to honor their newest adopters; Dillon’s Concrete, First Baptist Church, and Highlands Elite Real Estate.

The businesses hope to implement successful work-based learning programs while identifying and training the next generation of skilled service professionals and filling the pipeline for the future of the workforce. The program started in 1998 with the goal of generating investments and supporting education outside mainstream funding.
