In December there were 228 deeds registered with Putnam County

Putnam County – The Upper Cumberland Business Journal brings you the top 3 residential transactions in December. In the month 228 property deeds were registered with Putnam County, down from 236 in November.

The housing market overall in the Upper Cumberland is down, according to experts, but the county sold many beautiful homes in December and the “luxury home” market still seems to be strong.

Topping our list for December is a four bedroom, four bath, 4200 plus square foot executive home in Cookeville at 504 McCulley Lane (pictured above) with open concept and three attached garage spaces that sold for $1,150,000. The kitchen has quartz counters, commercial appliances, an interior brick wall and a huge butler’s pantry. Described as “the epitome of luxury and relaxation” the outdoor living space has a covered patio with a fireplace. The residence also features a vast bonus/family room.
