COOKEVILLE– Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) is committed to helping their community become a better place to live and work. A RJFS Cookeville based branch owned by Matthew Brown has made it their mission to give back to local organizations throughout the year. Executive Assistant Lindsay Maxwell, from Cookeville, chose Mustard Seed Ranch as this quarter’s focus.
Mustard Seed Ranch is a community supported, interdenominational Christian ministry that takes children out of unsafe environments and helps put them into loving homes. They have three existing homes with two more in the works. The RJFS branch donated $1500 worth of food, cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items that can be used every day on the ranch.
Maxwell shared, “I met a Mustard Seed Ranch representative at a Chamber of Commerce event and was impressed by what I heard. After doing some research, I knew I had to choose Mustard Seed as my charity this year. Children have a special place in my heart and seeing our community get them the help they need is incredible. Every child deserves a safe place to live and people who care about them. I was very fortunate growing up to have a great family, but I know not everyone is so lucky.”
