COOKEVILLE –As Hurricane Florence threatens the Carolinas and Virginia, more than 1 million people are under mandatory evacuation orders.
The Cookeville-Putnam County Visitors’ Bureau has worked with local hoteliers to offer rates for those seeking safe shelter in this time of need. Several of these are also allowing pets to better accommodate evacuees.
