First Horizon Foundation was founded in 1993 to serve the communities

First Horizon Foundation (FHF), the private, charitable foundation of First Horizon Corporation, recently donated $5,000 to the Putnam Education Partnership.

The FHF benefits the Student Needs Fund and describes itself as an organization that meets the “financial needs of the people we serve.” FHD was founded in 1993 to “serve the communities in which we operate, our Foundation has donated more than $150 million across our footprint.”

“Our commitment to continuously caring for our communities – through all economic cycles – has always been part of our strategy and embedded in our core values,” according to FHF. “For 160 years, we’ve collaborated with nonprofit partners and community leaders to build sustainability and strengthen the communities and people we serve.”

FHF says grants are invested for community needs and to promote progress and prosperity across these impact areas:

  • Arts & Culture: Emphasizing excellence and enrichment in the arts
  • Education & Leadership: Educating and developing the next generation of leaders
  • Environmental Sustainability: Fostering a more sustainable future
  • Financial Literacy: Promoting financial literacy within our communities
  • Health & Human Services: Improving the well-being of our communities
