The Overton County Chamber and local officials celebrated Lazy Cow Creamery’s new Livingston location with a ribbon cutting on Thursday, Sept. 6.  The ice cream shop is located at 204 West Main Street and is open from noon – 9 p.m. daily.

“We are excited to have Lazy Cow Creamery in downtown Livingston.  I truly believe they will be a major asset in our community,” said Livingston Mayor Curtis Hayes. “Also, they have partnered with one of our local restaurants to have Lazy Cow Creamery provide all the ice cream at the new Steel Coop restaurant located in downtown Livingston.”

Lazy Cow Creamery is the Upper Cumberland’s only handcrafted ice cream shop.  They feature a wide variety of handcrafted ice cream including vegan flavors.  All extras such as brownies, syrups and waffle cones are made on site.  A variety of Sunrise Dairy products are also available.

Lazy Cow Creamery Cookeville is located at 500 South Walnut Avenue and is open from noon – 9 p.m. Sunday – Thursday and noon – 10 p.m. Friday – Saturday.
