Pickett County holds the highest rate in regions

Unemployment in the Upper Cumberland improved slightly in December, according to the State of Tennessee.

Warren County has a rate of 3.5%, while elsewhere, Cannon County sits at 2.8%.

Cumberland County sits at 4.1% and DeKalb County landed at 3.8%. Fentress stands at 3.3% while Van Buren stands at 3.1%. Jackson County stands is up to 3.7%, and Macon County’s number sits at 2.7%.

Overton sits at 3.5% and Putnam stands at 3.1%. Smith landed at 2.9% and White County’s rate is 3.9%. Clay County sits at 4% and Pickett County stands at 4.8%.
