UPPER CUMBERLAND – Nashville-based Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical has acquired Cookeville’s Air Experts LLC in a deal announced Wednesday.
The partnership, officials said, will allow Air Experts, which has serviced more than 2,000 homes in the Cookeville, Crossville and Livingston areas over the past 30 years, to add new offerings and allows for continued growth and better service.
The family-owned business, which started as a single-truck operation and has grown into one of the largest residential HVAC contractors in the Upper Cumberland, was established in 1986 by Tom Ray and has operated under the leadership of his son, Jason Ray, for the past 14.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“The customer will have peace of mind knowing they’re going to be taken care of the same way they always have been, but we will (now) offer plumbing and electrical services,” Jason Ray said in a release. “One thing that appealed to me about partnering with Hiller is they provide the same great service that we do, they’ve grown their business the same way, and they take care of their customers the same way.”
Since 1990, Hiller has grown from a single employee with one truck to include 13 locations regionally. Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical provides residential and commercial service and repair throughout Tennessee, southern Kentucky and northern Alabama.
