COOKEVILLE – The Goodwill Career Solutions center in Cookeville will host a job fair from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, for Omni Source, which is looking to fill 10 manufacturing jobs in the Carthage area.
Pay, according to the job fair posting, is $9 per hour. A $35 drug and background screen is required. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID, Social Security card or birth certificate.
The job fair is one of many taking place at Goodwill’s Career Solutions centers this month – another for Metro Industrial is scheduled, for example, for Thursday, Jan. 29, at the Mount Juliet Goodwill Career Solutions Center. Metro is looking to fill 50-plus positions in Mount Juliet, Lebanon, Lafayette and Gordonsville, and openings include janitorial, assembly/light manufacturing, general labor, welders, painters, electricians and more.
