Jimmy Church Band bringing Motown to the Burlap Room

SMITHVILLE – Bert Driver is bringing A Night of Motown Sounds to Smithville featuring the World Famous Jimmy Church Band and other special guests on July 10. This is the only Middle Tennessee performance of the Jimmy Church Band in 2021, so be sure not to miss it.

The Jimmy Church Band is one of the world’s leading dance and show groups. This 10-piece, high energy band consists of rhythm and horn sections, dazzling choreography, and the titillating voices of Cinnamon and Spice.

The Jimmy Church Band has expanded their repertoire, broadening the band’s base to provide a fresh new variety of shows and entertainment to reach more people. In addition to performing the classic sounds of Motown Jimmy Church is so well known for, the new songs have been added into the show to also include well known, loved selections from Pop to Rock ‘N Roll. The band’s Song List now ranges from Bruno Mars, Pharrell Williams, Robin Thicke, to Louie Armstrong, Journey, Whitney Houston, Keith Urban.

Tickets for A Night of Motown Sounds are $20 advance, $25 day of show. Tickets are available here. Gates open at 4 p.m. and live music starts at 6 p.m.

The Burlap Bus shuttle will pick up anyone in the Center Hill Lake region for the Saturday events. Other special drop off/pickup arrangements are also available for your party. For more information or to set up reservations for the Burlap Bus, call (615) 516-1803 by 2 p.m. the day of the event. 

This is an outdoor event with plenty of space to socially distance while enjoying food from local food trucks along with craft beer from rural Tennessee breweries, CBD products, local artisans and more. 

All Burlap Room events are family and dog friendly. Ages 10 and younger are free with paid adult. Events are rain or shine. You may bring a camping chair for use outside only. No outside food or beverages are permitted.
