Former Senior Vice President of Financial Related Services Promoted to Oversee Sales and Support Teams in the Volunteer State

Louisville – Farm Credit Mid-America has promoted Jason Alexander to Senior Vice President of Agricultural Lending for Tennessee. In his new role, Alexander leads agricultural lending sales and support teams throughout the state.

“I am looking forward to this next chapter in my career at Farm Credit Mid-America, and am excited to dig in with our team members to discover new ways we can bring value to our customers and each other,” Alexander says. “I believe the best ideas come from the talented men and women who work with our customers every day. In my new role, I’m excited to continue to work alongside them to uncover new ideas, identify untapped opportunities, and ultimately help our customers and team members achieve their goals.”

Alexander’s career with Farm Credit Mid-America began in 2006 when he joined the financial services cooperative as a financial officer. He later became the Association’s first Crop Insurance specialist in Tennessee. He then stepped into a leadership role as Regional Vice President for Crop Insurance, leading and growing the Association’s crop insurance portfolio in Kentucky and Tennessee. Alexander has continued to hold leadership positions in the Association, and most recently served as Senior Vice President of Financial Related Services overseeing Crop Insurance, Growing Forward®, Leasing and Ag Direct.

Jason has a degree in Agribusiness from Middle Tennessee State University. He has served on numerous workgroups in the Farm Credit System throughout his career, chairing AgriBank’s Insurance Committee and serving on the Farm Credit Council’s District Insurance Committee. He is also a current board member for ProPartners Financial.

Alexander resides in Franklin, Tenn. with his wife, Courtney, and three sons, Whit, Charlie, and Holland.
