CROSSVILLE – Drs. Zach and Lori Boyd have been providing eye care in Cumberland County for nearly 20 years. Now the optometrist duo will have a new, state-of-the-art facility to help deliver service to their patients.
J. Cumby Construction has broken ground and begun the building process for a 6,000-square-foot optometry center on Miller Avenue in Crossville. The practice will feature a covered drive-through window for picking up prescriptions, a waiting room equipped with a separate children’s play area, and a custom dispensary area with a selection of optical glasses and sunglasses.
“We’re proud to have been chosen as the construction partner for the next chapter in the doctors’ professional story,” said Justin Cumby, president of J. Cumby Construction. “Completing projects on time and within budget is crucial for commercial building, especially for small businesses. Our team’s track record for doing that has helped us continue to deliver outstanding results for our clients.”
Construction is expected to wrap up in the spring of 2015.
