Putnam County – Instead of the usual demand for milk and bread during this winter storm, area residents are searching for de-icer, generators, batteries, propane heaters and windshield wipers.
Local residents took to Facebook searching for retailers that had needed items. Propane was in high demand with Stover’s Liquidation being reported as the only open retailer that had propane in stock.
Both WalMart and Autozone in Algood sold out of de-icer Tuesday morning.
Algood also has an incredible demand currently for gasoline cans, de-icer, generators, batteries and windshield wipers, according to the manager of the O’Reilley Auto Parts.
