Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) maintenance crews will be conducting shoulder repairs on I-40 West between mile marker 291 and mile marker 298 in Putnam County tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 20 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. CDT. The section of I-40 West where the work will take place is located between Cookeville and Monterey. During these repairs one lane will be temporarily closed to traffic.
Those who must travel in the area during this time are urged to be patient and alert to the workers in the area.
