Hotel officially opened in the city Aug. 9
Cookeville – Home2Suites by Hilton (HSH) in Cookeville, owned by NKH Hotels LLC (NKH) and operated by Image Hotel Management (IHM), is holding a Grand Opening Thursday Dec. 7. to celebrate the community and early success with the Cookeville–Putnam County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber).
The hotel officially opened in the city back on Aug. 9 on the lot of the former Quality Inn on South Jefferson Avenue. IHM employs over 330 associates in the hospitality industry.
“We are celebrating the highly anticipated grand opening of Home2 Suites by Hilton,” said the Cookeville–Putnam County Chamber of Commerce. “Home2 Suites is Cookeville’s newest hotel, just minutes from Tennessee Tech, CRMC and the Historic West Side.”

The grand opening will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and there will be giveaways, drinks and appetizers following the ribbon cutting.
“On Aug. 14, 1986, Neil Patel, CEO and founder of Image Hotel Management, opened his first hotel, Executive Inn, in Cookeville,” Karen Patel, managing partner at Image, said in a statement. “Thirty-seven years later, we are delighted to open our Home2 Suites here and continue our partnership with Hilton Hotels.”
HSH Cookeville features 102 guest suites, an indoor heated pool and fitness center. It also offers a putting green and outdoor seating area with a fire pit and a 1500-square-foot conference space.
