Highlands welcomes Darnell as new director of investor relations

COOKEVILLE – The Highlands Economic Partnership (HEP) announces the hire of David Darnell as director of investor relations, effective Aug. 5, 2019. Darnell comes to the highlands with over 15 years of sales and management leadership, including considerable recognition for his work with previous employers and developing two nationally-recognized companies: Addo, Inc., a corporate recruiting firm, and DBK Environmental Solutions, which houses a men’s lifestyle brand that is sold in 42 states and over 500 stores.

“David is eager to begin working with our investors and understands how vitally important this position is to the Partnership,” commented Lillian Hartgrove, HEP vice president of workforce development & education. “Investors need to be apprised of the on-going work and accomplishments generated by their investment, none of which would happen without their support. The director of investor relations is pivotal in that regard.”

Darnell plans to take on this role with high energy and a drive and determination to ensure new and existing investors have an unwavering degree of confidence in the HEP.

Launched in 2006, the Highlands Economic Partnershipis a collaborative, public/private sector program designed to boost economic and community development in Jackson, Overton, Putnam and White counties.
