Hall was originally charged with nine counts of health care fraud and six counts of aggravated identity theft. He was also accused of using other people’s identification without authorization to seek reimbursement for claims.
According to the Department of Justice, “between 2018 and May 2024, Hall allegedly submitted more than $6 million in false claims to Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE and Blue Cross Blue Shield. The charges allege he billed these programs for prescriptions that were not medically necessary, not actually dispensed, or not ordered by a health care provider.”
Earlier this year, the plea petition and plea agreement were signed and submitted in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
U.S. District Judge Eli J. Richardson accepted and signed that petition, “reserving recommendations until sentencing.”
Sentencing hearing (which was originally scheduled for 1 p.m.) is now scheduled for June 12, 2026, at 10 a.m.
