COOKEVILLE – The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 565-C S. Jefferson Ave. in Cookeville will host a job fair 1 – 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13, for four employers seeking to fill more than 200 positions in Putnam and surrounding counties.
Employers include Cookeville Regional Medical Center, Bledsoe County Correctional Complex, @Work Cumberland and Goodwill. Openings include Correctional officer, housekeeping, food service aid, patient care associate, patient sitter, childcare aid, press brake operator, packer, stacking pallets, assembly, paint, warehouse, die cast, injection molding, cashier, retail store association and donation express attendant. Rates of pay reach $15.63 per hour.
Job fair participants should wear a face covering and be prepared to practice social distancing. Interviews are possible, so job seekers should dress for success, bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
