Goodwill to host job fair for 12 employers, 300 jobs available

COOKEVILLE – The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 565-C S. Jefferson Ave. in Cookeville will host a job fair 1 – 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24, for 12 employers seeking to fill more than 300 positions in Putnam and surrounding counties.

Employers include Altium Packaging, @Work Staffing, Jackson Kayak, Home Caregivers, Aphena Pharma Solutions, Home Instead, Pacesetters, Nystar Mining, Silver Angels, Resource MFG, Cookeville Regional Medical Center and Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee. 

Openings include home care aide, entry-level miner, mill operator, master mechanic, direct in-home support, accounting clerk, kayak artisan, retail store associate, housekeeper, food service aid, injection molding, paint and other positions. Rates of pay reach $37 per hour.

Representatives from these companies will be on site and interviews are possible, so job seekers should dress for success, bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
