Move is a “bold move redefining what it means to care for hourly employees”

Cookeville’s Ultra Pizza Corporation, owned by Anthony Horn, has partnered with Fufild, a new, locally owned digital platform designed to care for employees inside and outside the workplace. The move is a “bold move redefining what it means to care for hourly employees,” according to a release.

The move will bring “Care-First culture” to five Marco’s Pizza franchise locations across the state, including Cookeville.

“Beginning next month, all full-time and part-time employees at Cookeville, Mount Juliet, Gallatin, Hendersonville, and Hermitage Marco’s Pizza locations will receive points through the Fufild Marketplace – points they can use for subscriptions, services and resources that elevate everyday life,” according to the release.

Fufild Marketplace offers a “PersonalFulfillment-as-a-Service™ (PFaaS™) platform” that offers “experiences, services and subscriptions that employees want,” according to the release. The goal is to help businesses improve retention, increase engagement and redefine the employer-employee relationship.

“Fufild’s platform gives employees access to everything from mental health tools to entertainment subscriptions, fitness memberships, educational resources and lifestyle upgrades—all covered through a monthly point system sponsored by the employer,” according to the release.

Popular options in the program include:

  • Netflix
  • Spotify
  • Instacart+
  • DoorDash
  • XBOX Game Pass

“We’re excited to be among the first franchise groups in the region to offer this kind of benefit,” said Anthony Horn, owner of Ultra Pizza Corporation. “It’s not just about hiring – it’s about keeping great people by showing them that they matter. Fufild makes that easy.”

The partnership makes Ultra Pizza Corporation one of the first Care-First certified employers in both the Upper Cumberland and across Tennessee.

“Ultra Pizza is trailblazing a future where fulfillment and flexibility are part of the job,” said Matt Allen, Co-Founder of Fufild. “They’re showing what’s possible when you put people first—even in industries known for high turnover.”

Hourly wage positions often wrestle with retention.

“… Ultra Pizza is offering something different at their Marco’s Pizza locations: joy, choice and growth for the people behind the counter,” according to the company.
