Free women’s health event to focus on newest treatment options

COOKEVILLE – Dr. Bert Geer, urogynecologist with Cookeville Gynecology, will be presenting a free women’s health seminar at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, in the Cookeville Regional Medical Center Education Center.

Geer will be speaking about current treatment options for bladder leakage and pelvic organ prolapse, both common conditions experienced by women at some point in their lives.

Geer is a board-certified female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery (formerly known as urogynecology) specialist by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and its division of female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. He is the only physician in the Upper Cumberland and the first at CRMC to become board certified in this subspecialty.
