COOKEVILLE – Eye Centers of Tennessee, an optometric group based in Crossville, is expanding its Cookeville practice by adding a new facility. The company is also completing renovations to its current South Willow Avenue site.
The new 7,800-square-foot building will be located at Old Walton Road and Guardian
Way, just off Neal Street and across from Volunteer State Community College.
Eye Centers of Tennessee partnered with J&S Construction to construct the new facility which will include a waiting area and coffee bar, optical retail space, two surgery rooms, several exam locations, administrative space for doctor’s offices and other staff and an employee lounge. J&S Construction anticipates breaking ground on the project in early spring and having the facility complete by year end.
Work will begin in February on the existing facility with a complete interior update planned.
J&S Construction has completed more than 10 projects for the Eye Centers of Tennessee team.
Eye Centers of Tennessee has multiple locations across the Upper Cumberland. Their services include eye exams, laser vision correction, cataract surgery, eye disease treatment, cosmetic treatments, glaucoma treatment, hearing loss and allergy treatment.
