Tennessee Governor Bill Lee celebrated economic development with French-based company BabyNov, USA in Red Boiling Springs Monday.

Lee spoke on the economic impact businesses like the baby food manufacturer have on Tennessee’s economy.

“Great to join BabyNov USA to celebrate three years of business in rural TN,” said Governor Lee in a Facebook post. “Trusted global companies choose to invest in TN’s top business climate & skilled workforce, creating jobs & real opportunity for Tennesseans. This is what economic development is all about.”

Production – BabyNov USA is a french organic baby food manufacturer.

BabyNov USA, who, three years ago, dedicated $45 million as an investment in the facility to create 147 new jobs, is dedicated to the production of ready-to-eat baby food for the American Market.

“Three years after it opened its doors in Macon County, we were finally able to celebrate the French organic baby food manufacturer,” said The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TDECD) in a Facebook post Monday.

According to BabyNov’s website, “BabyNov takes its DNA from Global Baby, a French company, with over 25 years of worldwide expertise in babies’ nutrition.”
