Dunkin’ celebrates grand opening of drive-thru only restaurant in Monterey

MONTEREY – People who live and work in Monterey can soon experience Dunkin’s store of the future, as Dunkin’ today announced it is celebrating the opening of its newest drive-thru only restaurant at 509 E. Stratton Ave. on Tuesday, Dec. 14.  

Featuring the brand’s next generation design, the drive-thru only Dunkin’ will allow guests to run on Dunkin’ faster and more conveniently than ever before.  

As part of the celebration, the store will offer the first 25 cars in line at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 14 free coffee and donuts for a month, up to four people per car. * Additionally, the new drive-thru location will offer guests a $0.99 Medium Hot/Iced Coffee from Dec. 14 through Dec. 20. ** 

At 9 a.m., Dunkin’ Franchisee Network Bluemont Group will officially cut the ribbon to celebrate the new store opening alongside Monterey Mayor JJ Reels and other city officials. Following the ribbon cutting, Bluemont Group in partnership with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, will donate $2,000 to Food to the Rescue, which delivers meals to local children which would otherwise not have food during seasonal school breaks.  

The 900 square-foot restaurant will employ 25 crew members and be open Monday – Saturday from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. 

Including the new Monterey restaurant, Dunkin’ franchisee network Bluemont Group, currently owns and operates 65 Dunkin’ locations throughout AL, GA, KS, MO, NC, SC, and TN.
