Drive thru flu shot clinic offering extended hours

PUTNAM COUNTY – The Putnam County Health Department will be offering a free drive thru flu shot clinic again this year. The clinic will be offered every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Cookeville Community Center on Carlen Drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

On Monday, Oct. 12, the health department will be offering extended hours at three remote clinics. The flu clinic will be at Burks Elementary in Monterey, Upperman Middle in Baxter and at Jere Whitson in Cookeville from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

COVID testing is still available Monday thru Friday at the Putnam County Fairgrounds from 7 a.m. to noon.
