Deadline nears to future-proof your business

Biz Foundry offers business recovery program

COOKEVILLE – As communities attempt to revive the economy, small businesses will face the same question as large ones: How do we reopen after a global pandemic? This is a question few have faced before, but narrower considerations—how to reinvent your business model, or how to navigate tricky employment law scenarios—have been explored and studied.

The one thing we can take away from these last months is that we must anticipate the unexpected. How? By learning to adapt our businesses to fit the changing needs of our customers and by embracing new forms of business management.

The Biz Foundry’s upcoming Rebuild Program is a prime opportunity for small businesses impacted by COVID-19 to learn how to adapt and grow the business for an ever-changing economy.

This live-facilitated, virtual 10-session program will help business owners learn to refocus the business, stabilize it and build toward long-term recovery. Working with a dedicated group of like-minded peers, participants will cover topics relevant to the current COVID-19 challenges in a series of ten 2.5-hour sessions.

Courses are twice weekly for five weeks beginning Tuesday, Sept. 22 and ending Thursday, Oct. 22. Meeting times are Tuesdays from 9-11 a.m. and Thursdays from 6-8 p.m.

Rebuild is available to small businesses in the Upper Cumberland. The program normally costs $300, but TSBDC is offering full scholarships to participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
