Company added 20,000 square feet to existing facility
Monterey – Cumberland Container (CC) in Monterey has expanded.
The company added 20,000 square feet to its existing facility at 1027 N Chestnut Ave.
“Cumberland Container is proud to announce our 20,000 square foot expansion has been completed,” said CC. “For the first time, our employees are able to travel and move product between our main plant and warehouse under a roof. This expansion gives us 4 new dock doors for receiving and 3X more space for staging. Out of the 20,000ft, 6,000 will be utilized for cutting die storage.”
CC, founded Oct 21, 1968, has been in business for over 50 years in the Upper Cumberland and began production in July 1969. At that time, the facility was only 6,000 square feet on three acres. CC now has a more than 263,000-square-foot facility on more than 15 acres.
