Cumberland Business Institute to celebrate World Cardmaking Day

CROSSVILLE – The Cumberland Business Institute (CBI) is celebrating World Cardmaking Day on Saturday, Oct. 2 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Louise Goodman will be leading the celebration and brings her love of custom cardmaking and paper arts to the classroom.

“There is no limit to the imagination when creating, designing and learning how to express your sentiments than when you set a few moments aside to make your own personal greeting for those who are special in your life,” according to Goodman.

To celebrate this day at the CBI, Goodman will have stations available to make various greeting cards using multiples of supplies to choose from and she will be there to help and lead students during the day. All supplies will be provided. Students are encouraged to bring their lunch, or order lunch in, so that they have plenty of time to make cards.

Cost for the day is $15 and registration and payment deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 28. To register, call Louise Goodman at 931-707-2798 or Amy Barnes at 931-456-4910 ext. 4884. Facial masks will be required during class sessions.

CBI is located on the Roane State Community College Campus at 2569 Cook Road in Crossville.
