COOKEVILLE – Cookeville Regional Medical Center (CRMC) has announced that 99% of their employees have now successfully undertaken the vaccination process in accordance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) vaccine mandate and will remain employed at CRMC.
According to a statement issued Wednesday by CRMC Chief Strategy Officer Ricky Shelton, a few individuals chose not to participate in the process. Those employees were mostly part-time workers and CRMC has begun the separation process for each.
“While we regret the loss of anyone from our organization, our goal is to always provide the safest and most effective care to our valued patients while complying with all the required CMS mandates,” said the statement.
“We appreciate our valued employees who remained with us during this process and continue to provide excellent and compassionate care to the residents of Cookeville and the entire Upper Cumberland region,” Shelton added.
