Cookeville – Cookeville Regional Medical Center announces that the
primary care providers of Cookeville Regional Medical Group, located at 128
North Whitney, will soon be joining the provider network of Summit Medical
Group, the largest primary care organization in East Tennessee.
Based in Knoxville, Summit will assume practice operations for CRMG Primary Care (Family Practice and Internal Medicine) on March 1. The office location will remain at 128 North Whitney.
“This change will be a win-win for everyone involved, from the patients to the staff to the providers,” states Paul Korth, Chief Executive Officer at Cookeville Regional. “Summit Medical Group specializes in primary care and is better positioned to offer more primary care options for the patients and the community.”
Patients of CRMG Primary Care will soon receive a letter in the mail about the change but should experience a seamless transition.
