COOKEVILLE – Cookeville Regional Medical Center (CRMC) will be hosting its quarterly health and fitness fair from 7-10 a.m. Saturday, April 12. The fair is open to the public and provides an opportunity for community members to participate in health screenings to stay abreast of their health.
Screenings available at the health fair include:
• Blood pressure
• Cholesterol and lipid profile
• Vitamin D level
• Prostate specific antigen
• Complete blood count
• Oxygen saturation
• Pulmonary function test
• Complete chemistry profile
• Thyroid profile
• Hemoglobin A1C
• Blood type
• Bone density
• Testosterone level
• Lung cancer (low dose CT lung scan – would be scheduled for a later date for participants who meet certain criteria)
The health fair will be held in the hospital’s Education Center located inside the east entrance beside the emergency room. Registration is required to attend.
