New logo was a goner, and the old-timer will remain
“We thank our guests for sharing your voices and love for Cracker Barrel,” began Cracker Barrel’s statement on its website. “We said we would listen full display. We have.”
CB went on to announce that the new logo was a goner, and the old-timer will remain.
“At Cracker Barrel, it’s always been – and will always be – about serving up delicious food, warm welcomes, and the kind of country hospitality that feels like family,” continued the statement.
The logo change, which removed “Uncle Herschel” sitting next to a barrel, was a part of an official rebrand that also included changing the interior of the restaurants. No word yet on if the latter is still a go, but if the loyal customers have anything to say about it, it may not be.
The power of the people.
“As a proud American institution, our 70,000 hardworking employees look forward to welcoming you to our table soon.”
