COVID-19: Cookeville to resume utility disconnections

COOKEVILLE – The city of Cookeville has announced that it will resume disconnection of services for non-payment of utilities, including water, sewer, natural gas and electricity, beginning June 1.

To avoid disconnection of utilities, customers that are behind on their monthly payments are encouraged to contact the city of Cookeville customer service department to make arrangements for payment by no later than Friday, May 29. The Customer Service Department may be reached Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by calling (931) 526-9591.
