Seven million dollars worth of construction projects added

Putnam County – May 2023 construction numbers were strong and growing in Putnam County.

Compared to May 2022, this years numbers increased slightly to 40 permits issued (compared to 39 in 2022) and $7 million worth of construction projects added. 20 of those were single-family residential homes. For the Fiscal Year, the county has issued 340 permits worth $70.5 million in construction.

201 of those were single-family homes.
