CELINA – Dale Hollow 1 Stop BBQ in Celina will be relocating and expanding in the near future, creating job opportunities in Clay County.
After receiving capital from Cumberland Area Investment Corporation (CAIC), a division of the Upper Cumberland Development District (UCDD), Linda Raines, owner of Dale Hollow 1 Stop BBQ, will be moving her business to a new location. The relocation to 1012 E. Lake Ave., Celina, with a target date on or before May 15, will allow for further business expansion. The expansion will allow for adequate parking, storage, work space, seating and additional job opportunities. Raines is taking applications for a variety of new positions.
“The goal of the expansion is to better accommodate our customers and make a better work environment for our employees,” Raines said. “The business has outgrown its current location, and we can’t fully serve our customer base.”
Raines, a lifelong resident of Clay County, entered the barbecue business in 1985. Since 2003, Dale Hollow 1 Stop BBQ has been in its current location, next to the Dale Hollow 1-Stop Market, and has grown from serving customers from three to seven days a week.
Raines currently owns the building of Dale Hollow 1 Stop BBQ, and with the relocation, she will also own the land.
“Owning the building and land ensures future success of the business. This is something that could stay in the family,” Raines said. “We’d like to extend our sincere appreciation to our local and regional customers who have made our business successful and to Lynnette and Steve Headrick, owners of the Dale Hollow 1-Stop Market, who allowed us to start and grow our business next to their store.”
