Changes coming to former Wilson site

COOKEVILLE – Cookeville West Side’s landscape is once again visibly changing as the former Lazer Tag location is being leveled to prepare the site for future development.

Auxin-Wilson Project, LLC, owners of the property, said that it was important to them to remove the older, unused buildings so that developers could visualize the property’s potential better.

The entire property is just under five acres and consists of the former Wilsons building site, Lazer Tag location currently being demolished, and the adjacent lot, which houses a garage/storage building for Builders Supply.

“There are not many five-acre tracts in downtown Cookeville,” said Auxin partner Bob Duncan.

Auxin began developing the property in 2015 and continues to be interested in the property being developed for a hotel, mixed-use property or for another use to enhance downtown Cookeville.
