CBI to hold Tree Dedication Ceremony to honor Mueller

CROSSVILLE – The Cumberland Business Incubator (CBI) will be holding a tree dedication ceremony on Monday, July 12 at 3 p.m. to honor the late Dr. Carl Mueller, who was instrumental in getting the CBI off the ground.

Mueller was the driving force to start the CBI by making the city and county mayors, state and regional officials and many others aware of what a business incubator could do to increase economic development in the Crossville area by helping small businesses get started and grow.

Mueller served on the Cumberland Business Incubator Steering Committee where he had the chance to hear reports on the progress of the CBI and to hear from some of the entrepreneurs who benefitted from the services. He was always excited to meet and talk to the entrepreneurs and enjoyed attending the Open Houses at the CBI each year and seeing what businesses were doing at the Maker Space.

The ceremony will be held at the CBI which is located at 2569 Cook Road.  The public is invited.
