MCMINNVILLE – Bojangles’ continues to expand its presence in the Upper Cumberland region, most recently breaking ground on its newest restaurant planned for McMinnville.
Work is underway at 814 Smithville Highway – near Hobson Street and across from Sonic – for the fast-food restaurant chain known for its Southern-style chicken and biscuits. According to bid documents, the restaurant will be less than 5,000 square feet in size; no other information, including completion date or number of jobs, was immediately available.
The McMinnville restaurant will be Bojangles’ fourth in the region, joining Crossville, Cookeville and Sparta. That’s above the projection Bojangles’ officials made in previous years about plans to open at least two new restaurant chains in the UC with around a $6 million investment.
