ABB designs and manufactures wiring and cable management equipment
ABB, a design and manufacturing wiring and cable management equipment company, recently celebrated 60 years in business in McMinn County. The company manufactures 200 million products annually.
TNECD Assistant Commissioner Jamie Stitt and Southeast Tennessee Business Consultant Anissa Ingram joined ABB officials as well as state and local leadership to celebrate at the company’s 388,000 sq. ft. facility.
“At its Athens facility, ABB designs and manufactures wiring and cable management equipment for homes, buildings, industrial facilities and public infrastructure,” according to the Chamber.
The company produces more than 250 million pieces of electrical equipment each year.
“Congratulations to ABB, and here’s to another 60 years,” according to the Chamber.
“Since 1965, our Athens, Tennessee team has produced over 12 billion trusted electrical products – powering everything from data centers and stadiums to homes and buildings worldwide,” according to ABB. “… Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating 60 years of evolution and electrification excellence!”
