Key data details remote work’s impact on professionals and businesses

Boulder, Co. – Over the past few years, the perception of remote work has shifted largely from a pandemic-era policy to a permanent business solution. In fact, recent FlexJobs surveys revealed that in addition to the majority of people wanting a fully remote (65 percent) or hybrid (32 percent) job, 48 percent of employers are maintaining some form of remote work moving forward.

To examine remote work’s revolution and the growing interest behind it, FlexJobs has released its 2022 Remote Work Stats & Trends Report. The new report details key data and statistics on the impact and broad benefits of remote work on professionals, businesses and the modern work landscape.

“As the research in our latest report demonstrates, the demand for remote work is strong,” said Sara Sutton, Founder and CEO of FlexJobs. “Across industries, companies and workers have experienced the valuable benefits remote work brings. As a result, the widespread interest and adoption of remote-friendly practices are clear signals that remote work’s lasting impact on the world of work will be felt well into 2023 and for many years to come,” Sutton concluded.

In addition to outlining the current state of remote work, FlexJobs’ 2022 Remote Work Stats & Trends Report provides key insights and data to help prospective job seekers, workers, and employers better navigate an increasingly remote work landscape.
