Cookeville Art Studio & Gallery presents “Future Art Educators” exhibit

COOKEVILLE – Cookeville Art Studio & Gallery will host the artwork of Tennessee Tech students who are getting ready to get their license to teach in a “Future Art Educators” exhibit. The exhibit will open Feb. 4. with a public reception to honor the future teachers from 4 – 7 p.m.

The featured students are currently doing their student teaching as the final step toward completing their license requirements. The training they have received so far has included a diverse sample of the different art making processes and styles, including painting, drawing, print making, photography, wheel throwing pottery, fibers, metal, glass and woodworking. The works submitted will have been created as they worked through their curriculum and may include one or more of these mediums. 

Many of their art pieces will be for sale also.
